Join Our Team! We are now accepting applications for 2018-19 Fall/Winter Workshop Instructors.

WISE Kid-Netic Energy, a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) Outreach Program, was established in 1990.  Throughout the school year we travel to schools in/near the City of Winnipeg delivering hands-on workshops based on K-12 Manitoba Science curriculum. During the spring we deliver our workshops to communities further from Winnipeg, as well as a number of First Nations day camps. In the summer, we offer day camps in communities throughout the province. We employ undergraduate students to deliver our programming.

Spring/summer workshop & camp instructor hiring is complete. We are now looking for workshop instructors for the fall/winter. You will be trained to deliver all of our K-12 workshops. You can expect to deliver to schools within Winnipeg, as well as communities up to 1.5 hours outside of the city.

Term options include: Oct - Dec, Jan - Apr , or Oct - Apr.

In order to be eligible you need a valid driver's license (no learner's permits), preferably your own vehicle (we only have a couple of vehicles available), and a background in science or engineering.

We will provide you with an amazing experience that will allow you to polish your presentation skills, increase your independence, see places you've never seen before, and give you the opportunity to encourage ALL youth to get excited about STEM!

We offer a starting wage of $14/hr, and pride ourselves on hiring students who reflect the diversity of the students we see throughout Manitoba. Please see our APPLICATION FORM for more details on how to apply.
