Join Our Team! We hire Workshop and/or Camp Instructors every Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer term. If you don't see a posting now, please check back.

WISE Kid-Netic Energy, a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) Outreach Program, was established in 1990.  Throughout the school year we travel to schools in/near the City of Winnipeg delivering hands-on workshops based on K-12 Manitoba Science curriculum. During the spring we deliver our workshops to communities further from Winnipeg, as well as a number of First Nations day camps. In the summer, we offer day camps in communities throughout the province. We employ undergraduate students to deliver our programming.

As an instructor, you will be trained to deliver all of our K-12 workshops, as well as STEM and Codemakers camps in the summer. You can expect to travel to communities throughout Manitoba. Our fall and winter instructors work flexible part-time hours that accommodate their course schedules. Our spring and summer instructors work full-time for more extensive travel.

In order to be eligible for either position, you require a valid intermediate or full Canadian driver's license, preferably your own vehicle, and a background in science or engineering.

We will provide you with an amazing experience that will allow you to polish your presentation skills, increase your independence, see places you've never seen before, and give you the opportunity to encourage all youth to get excited about STEM!

We offer a starting wage of $14/hr, and pride ourselves on hiring students who reflect the diversity of the students we see throughout Manitoba.

Spring/summer instructor hiring is now complete, but please stay tuned for fall/winter postings in September.
