Join Our Team! We are now accepting applications for 2017-18 Fall/Winter Workshop Instructors, as well as an Event Photographer!

WISE Kid-Netic Energy is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) Outreach Program that has existed since 1990.  Throughout the school year we travel to schools in/near the City of Winnipeg delivering hands-on workshops based on K-12 Manitoba Science curriculum. During the summer, we offer day camps in communities throughout the province. We employ undergraduate students to deliver our workshops, as well as, to deliver our day camps. 

Summer camp hiring is complete. We are now looking for workshop instructors for the fall and winter terms. You will be trained to deliver all of our K-12 workshops. You can expect to travel in, and within approximately 1.5 hours of Winnipeg.

In order to be eligible you need a valid driver's license, your own vehicle (we provide rentals for long distances), and a background in science or engineering. You need to be available at least one morning or one afternoon per week.

We will provide you with an amazing experience that will allow you to polish your presentation skills, increase your independence, see places you've never seen before, and give you the opportunity to encourage all youth to get excited about STEM!

In addition, we are looking for an event photographer. The reponsibilities of this position include attending several (typically Saturday) events throughout the academic school year to take photos, and then edit them for WISE Kid-Netic Energy's use.
