In 2011, WISE Kid-Netic Energy won the Actua & GE Canada Award for Leadership and Innovation. This award was created in 1998 as a way to recognize member organizations that have best exemplified the Actua spirit of innovation over the past year.

The Faculty of Engineering is proud to once again present Engineering IS for Girls. This free half-day event is designed for young women in Grades 9-11. This is an opportunity to meet the Dean of Engineering, current engineering students, and graduates who are now changing the world as professional engineers. A hands-on activity will take place, and lunch is included. Space is limited. First-come, first-serve; max. 5 students per school.
