In 2011, WISE Kid-Netic Energy won the Actua & GE Canada Award for Leadership and Innovation. This award was created in 1998 as a way to recognize member organizations that have best exemplified the Actua spirit of innovation over the past year.

Welcome to WISE Kid-Netic Energy! 


Founded in 1990, WISE Kid-Netic Energy is the largest community outreach program offered by the University of Manitoba.  Our primary support is from the Faculty of Engineering.

WISE Kid-Netic Energy is a non-profit organization that offers hands on, curriculum based science, engineering and technology deliverables for youth in Kindergarten through grade 12.  Use the navigation bar at the top of the page to learn more about our program and how you can get involved!

Accepting Camp Registration for Sapotaweyak Cree Nation

WISE Kid-Netic Energy will be offering its Science & Engineering day camp July 16-20 in lieu of the week we were supposed to deliver camp in the school in May. This camp is designed for youth ages 9-12; there are 20 spots available. It will take place at Neil Dennis Kematch Memorial School. Camp is free of charge, and lunch will be provided on Thursday, July 19. Click here to register.
