Go Code Girl is a high-energy day where girls* jump into Computer Science & Engineering through coding challenges and tech explorations — building skills, confidence, and big ideas!

About the Event
Go Code Girl is an interactive day of computer science & engineering intended to expose girls to programming, computational thinking and digital skills through a variety of fun sessions!
This event is great way for students to find out if computer science/engineering is an area they might like to pursue as a career one day. In addition, this event will inform the girls about other clubs, events and resources that exist if they would like to extend their learning beyond the day-long event.
When students register, they will have an opportunity to take part in online coding activities prior to the event. The more lessons a student completes, the more times their name will be entered to win a prize.
*Our Girls programs are for all girl-identified youth and youth identifying as non-binary, trans and/or gender-diverse!

Each year, we partner with groups who have expertise and youth programs in different areas of computer science & engineering. Participants rotate through stations to complete puzzles, games, and other activities delivered by our partner organizations.

When Registering you will be taken to our Registration Portal. If you are a new user, you will be asked to create an account where you will add the youth to your account as a guardian/parent.
