For girls* in grades 9-11 to explore exciting fields of engineering!

*Our Girls programs are for all girl-identified youth and youth identifying as non-binary, trans and/or gender-diverse!

Go Eng Girl is an annual opportunity for girls in grades 9-11 to explore engineering! Participants will work together in a team to participate in a fun and meaningful hands-on engineering activity. Price Faculty of Engineering students serve as mentors to the teams participating!

Join us in this year’s activity, in partnership with the Neil Squire Society, participants will be adapting toys to be donated to Children in Manitoba, as part of Makers Making Change initiative making play accessible for families with children with disabilities across Canada, helping children play independently with their toys.

This event is FREE to attend and includes food, and more fun stuff!

Time: 10:00am - 3:30pm - Participants to arrive 9:30am.
Location: EITC Engineering Building (University of Manitoba)

Tentative Schedule:

9:30 am - Participant Arrival and Sign-in Activity
10:00am - Welcome Address
10:30am - Build 1 Begins!
11:30pm - Lunch + Panet
12:30pm - Build 2 Begins!
2:30pm - Testing
3:00pm - Survey & Concluding Remards
3:30pm - Event Finished
