In 2011, WISE Kid-Netic Energy won the Actua & GE Canada Award for Leadership and Innovation. This award was created in 1998 as a way to recognize member organizations that have best exemplified the Actua spirit of innovation over the past year.

Welcome to WISE Kid-Netic Energy! 


Founded in 1990, WISE Kid-Netic Energy is the largest community outreach program offered by the University of Manitoba.  Our primary support is from the Faculty of Engineering.

WISE Kid-Netic Energy is a non-profit organization that offers hands on, curriculum based science, engineering and technology deliverables for youth in Kindergarten through grade 12.  Use the navigation bar at the top of the page to learn more about our program and how you can get involved!

Altona Camp!

Exciting news - we will also be hosting our STEM camp in Altona this summer! This camp will be held at the Altona Curling Club July 16-20. Youth ages 9-12 are welcome to register online today. Thanks to local support, the registration fee is only $100.

Girls Club Registration - Now Open

We are now accepting registrations for our 2018-2019 Girls Club! For girls in grade 6-8 in the fall or 3-5 in the winter, this club covers a different area of science or engineering each week. These spots fill up, so register soon if you want to secure one!
